About Sidrah
I am someone who doesn't believe in giving up. This is why when I decided to major in Physics for my undergraduate degree while having a weak foundation in math, I knew I had to buckle up and give it my 110% without feeling disheartened.
Although, this goal was a steep slope to climb, focusing on improving my skills and gaining a better understanding of the subject matter rather than assessing my abilities is what kept me going.
I like to implement and encourage this approach to learning in my students as well.

I aim to have a thoughtful and effective approach when it comes to teaching math. I believe focusing on building a strong foundation and adapting to each student’s needs and learning style is the key to fostering deep understanding and growth. Creating a comfortable environment where my students feel encouraged to ask questions and make mistakes without feeling judged is especially important for their learning journey as well. This approach not only helps them grasp the material better but also boosts their confidence in tackling challenges.
In mathematics, where concepts can sometimes be abstract or challenging, my ability to make the subject accessible and relevant to students of various backgrounds and grade levels is a valuable asset. By being malleable in my teaching methods, I ensure that I can meet students where they are and guide them toward mastering the subject matter.
I am committed to nurturing not just academic skills but also a positive mindset towards learning. By emphasizing that mistakes are a natural part of the learning process helps students develop resilience and a willingness to tackle difficult problems.
