About Asa
I am currently a Third year Physical Natural Sciences undergraduate at the University of Cambridge. I attained 4 A*s at A-Level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Chemistry and 10 9s at GCSE. I am very passionate about the fields of Physics and Maths, and wish to foster this passion in others.

When I was learning in school, I found myself being increasingly frustrated by the focus on exams and answering questions over true understanding of the subject. For this reason my teaching tends to be far more focused on understanding a concept in depth rather than just ‘tricks’ to learn in exams. This approach allows for students to improve both their critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and explains concepts from the ground up. Lessons can be organised to be one hour long or two hours long with a short break halfway through and timing is often flexible.

Excellent teacher with clear communication and keen support for his students. Asa helped me to get an Oxford interview and with my preparation for this too, and was very responsive with my questions.
