About Sierra
Hello! My name is Sierra Webber, and I’m passionate about helping students reach their full potential through personalized, engaging learning. I hold a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Biology from Loyola University Chicago and have several years of experience working in education and research. My background in psychology allows me to understand how students learn best and to adapt my teaching methods to fit each individual’s needs. I’ve worked with learners of all ages and abilities, including students with autism and ADHD, and I take pride in creating a patient, supportive, and encouraging environment where every student can succeed. My goal is not only to help students master academic skills but also to build their confidence and curiosity as lifelong learners. Whether in person or online, I bring professionalism, empathy, and enthusiasm to every session to make learning both effective and enjoyable.

As a tutor, I take an individualized, student-centered approach grounded in learning science and cognitive psychology. Whether working online or in person, I tailor each session to the student’s unique learning style—using visual aids, interactive discussions, and hands-on strategies to make complex concepts clear and engaging.
A typical lesson begins with a quick review to reinforce prior material, followed by guided practice and personalized examples that build confidence and understanding. I close each session by setting clear goals for continued progress.
What sets me apart is my background in psychology and education research, particularly in how active learning techniques enhance memory and comprehension. I’ve worked with students of diverse learning needs, including those with autism and ADHD, and I prioritize patience, flexibility, and a supportive environment in every session.
I offer online and in-person tutoring for elementary through high school students in math, reading, writing, psychology, and study skills, helping learners strengthen academic performance and develop lifelong learning strategies.
