About Charu
I hold a Master's degree in Power Systems Engineering from MBM University, Jodhpur, one of Rajasthan's most reputed engineering institutions, and a B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering. My academic journey has been hands-on from the start: I trained at Ramgarh Gas Thermal Power Plant, built real engineering projects, and conducted research on Machine Learning applications in Power Systems at the postgraduate level.
Teaching has been a natural part of my path, from mentoring peers during my B.Tech years to guiding B.Tech and BE students through complex subjects as a postgraduate. I understand firsthand how overwhelming engineering concepts can feel, which is exactly why I focus on building clarity from the ground up rather than pushing students to memorize without understanding.
My M.E. research sits at the cutting edge of the field, exploring how AI and Machine Learning are transforming power grids through smarter fault detection, load forecasting, and energy optimisation. This means when I teach Power Systems, I'm not just delivering textbook content — I'm connecting it to where the industry is actually heading.
I am organised, punctual, and genuinely invested in every student's progress. I create a calm, supportive space where questions are always welcome, sessions are thoughtfully planned, and the goal is always the same: real understanding, not just exam performance.

Every session is built around one principle: understand the concept first, then the formula follows naturally. Too many engineering students lose marks not because they lack effort, but because they were taught to memorise rather than think. That's what I work to change.
A typical session runs like this — we open with a quick recall of what we covered last time, which takes five minutes but makes a significant difference to retention. I then introduce the new topic using the simplest possible explanation first, often with a real-world analogy, before we touch any equations. Once the idea is clear, we move into worked examples together, I show you where students typically go wrong, and then you solve problems independently while I observe and correct in real time. Every session closes with two or three practice questions and a clear note of what to revise before we meet again.
For online sessions, I use screen sharing, digital whiteboards, and shared problem sheets so the experience is just as interactive and hands-on as in-person teaching. The subjects I cover include Power Systems, Electrical Machines, Circuit Theory, Control Systems, Power Electronics, Network Analysis, and MATLAB. I also prepare students specifically for GATE EE, university semester exams, and final year project guidance.
These sessions work best for B.Tech and BE students who want to stop feeling lost in lectures, build a foundation strong enough to handle any exam question, and genuinely understand how electrical engineering connects to the real world. Whether you are starting from scratch or pushing for a top score, you will leave every session clearer than when you arrived.
