As a high-achieving grammar school student predicted an A* in A-Level Maths and holding a Grade 8 (A) in GCSE Maths*, I bring a fresh, relatable, and exam-focused approach to learning. Having successfully written and passed the 11+ exam myself to gain entry into my grammar school, I know exactly what it takes to succeed under pressure.
My teaching methodology focuses heavily on breaking down complex topics into digestible steps and mastering exam techniques to unlock top marks.
Who It's For: I tutor students from Year 4 to Year 11, specialising in 11+ preparation as well as GCSE Maths and Sciences.
Lesson Length: Classes are typically 1 hour long, but I am completely flexible and happy to take longer if a student needs extra time to grasp a difficult concept.
My Experience: Beyond my own academic success in A-Level Maths, Chemistry, and Biology, I have valuable experience mentoring Year 11 students at my school in group science sessions, focusing strictly on exam board criteria. I have also successfully tutored my sister for her 11+ exams, giving me firsthand experience with the specific demands of the 11+ curriculum.
