Cilia is one of our best Spanish tutors. They have a high-quality profile, verified qualifications, a quick response time, and great reviews from students!

About Cilia

Hello, my name is Cilia. I am passionate about education, communication, and enthusiastic learning about different cultures. I am a native Spanish teacher with certification specialised in teaching Spanish as a foreign language. I have been teaching Spanish online for five years. I have extensive experience in providing individual private classes. I also have a strong knowledge of English, which will serve as a valuable tool for us in learning Spanish. Having been a language student myself, I understand the barriers and difficulties that can arise when learning a new language. I have taught students from various European countries, North America, and Asia. I can help you develop your innate ability to learn a language, become a self-sufficient learner, and communicate independently, not only during our classes but in every aspect of daily life. No matter your age or experience level, I can assist you in overcoming any educational barriers. I have worked with a diverse range of students and am equipped to help you succeed. In my classes, we will work hard and with enthusiasm, making the learning process fun and interesting. We will enjoy learning Spanish through culture, music, games, and a lot of communication. You are the protagonist!

About the lesson

I work with tools such as: teaching based on the Institute Cervantes Curriculum Plan, newspaper articles, TV series, songs, and specialised videos. I am available for classes for children and adults who are learning Spanish for the first time. Furthermore, I love to talk, so we can have endless hours of conversation on various topics such as Latin American culture, fashion, travel, entertainment, or anything that interests you.

Review

All of our reviews are collected by us and are 100% reliable. They correspond to a real experience lived by the students of Cilia.

Perfect! My daughter, Esme, is learning so much with Cilia as her tutor. Her sessions are personalised and suited to what she wants to achieve within each lesson; Cilia listens to what Esme's goals are, understands the areas needing nurture and development and makes it fun while teaching. If you are wanting to learn and feel good while doing it, I would recommend Cilia as a wonderful Spanish tutor.

Perfect! Both of my children (aged 16 and 12) have been attending Spanish Tuition, and we’ve had an excellent experience. Their tutor, Cilla, is patient, knowledgeable, and very supportive.

My 16-year-old has gained confidence in GCSE subjects and is now much better prepared for exams. My 12-year-old enjoys the lessons and is showing real progress too — something I hadn’t seen with other tuition providers.

Lessons are well-structured and tailored to each child’s needs. Communication is always clear, and Cilla is very professional and approachable. We’re based in the UK, and it’s been so convenient having access to such high-quality teaching.

Thank you, Cilla and the team at Spinach Tuition — highly recommended to any parent looking for reliable support for their child’s learning.

Pascal intends to move to Latin America, so we have been working on his understanding of Spanish, but mainly to understand the slang of South American countries.
