About Artem
I am a professional Product Designer with a diverse background spanning Enterprise SaaS, E-commerce, and AI technologies. Most recently, I worked on optimizing AI agents for Microsoft, where I developed complex high-fidelity prototypes and designed systems used by thousands of enterprise users. My qualifications are backed by a Bachelor of Arts in Human Centered Design from Washington State University and a Google UX Design Certificate. My career is built on solving real user problems—from reducing cart abandonment in e-commerce to speeding up internal workflows for startups. I bring this same professional rigor to my teaching. I am patient, detail-oriented, and committed to helping you reach a professional standard, whether you are just starting out or looking to refine your advanced skills. My Teaching Approach: "Real World" over Theory. I bridge the gap between academic concepts and what actually happens inside top tech companies. My goal is to help you stop "practicing" and start designing at a professional level. We don't just look at slides; we open Figma and build.
A Typical Lesson Plan Every student is different, but a standard 1-hour session usually looks like this:
First 10 mins: Critique of your current work or homework (Portfolio or specific project review).
Next 40 mins: Hands-on "co-designing." I share my screen (or you share yours) and we solve a specific problem together—whether that's mastering Figma Auto-Layout, building a Design System component, or fixing a UX flow.
Final 10 mins: Actionable feedback and clear "next steps" for you to practice before we meet again.
What Sets Me Apart I am an active Product Designer. I recently worked on AI agents for Microsoft and high-conversion SaaS platforms. I know exactly what hiring managers are looking for right now because I am actively doing the work. I bring a mix of high-level UX strategy (HCD degree) and tactical UI precision.
