About Nia
I am a professional cellist with a Masters’ degree from Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I have over 15 years of performing experience, ranging from solo concertos, chamber music concerts and countless orchestral performances. I freelance regularly with ensembles across the UK including the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Sinfonia Cymru, Orpheus Sinfonia, Wild Arts Opera, as well as having been principal cellist of Guildhall Opera and Chamber Orchestras, and the National Youth Orchestra of Wales. I am a hardworking and committed teacher who always works to get the very best out of my students.

10+ years of teaching experience. My teaching style is influenced by my previous teachers Rebecca Gilliver, Gillian Thoday and Sharon McKinley. Lessons are for any age/level of cellist!
