About the lesson

Whether you're picking up an instrument for the first time or looking to take your songwriting to the next level, I tailor lessons to fit your style, pace, and goals. Lessons will focus on technique, ear training, and music theory, while incorporating songs that inspire students to play and practice. For songwriting and production, Derek helps students develop original ideas, structure songs, and offers guidance as they bring their compositions to life.
