About Emma
I'm Emma and I'm currently working full-time as an HR Advisor for a private family member's club in West London. I've tutored for 4+ years in a variety of subjects for ages 4-16 - I especially LOVE teaching poetry, creative writing and exploring English Literature.
I like super close to Colliers Wood station. I graduated from the University of Reading with a BA in Film & Theatre in 2013 and have experience in video production which I often use to bring my lessons to life and connect with tech-savvy minds. I have also recently gained my CIPD qualification for HR.
I really enjoy tutoring as there's nothing better than inspiring a younger generation, helping them get the best out of their education enabling them to follow their dreams!

My approach to my lessons is very consultative, I'd much rather find out from the student what they're struggling with first, then as we work our way through the curriculum I'll know exactly where we'll need to do extra work and really focus. I'll also ensure that the student is fully aware of the assessment criteria for each unit of work, so they always know what is expected of them.
