Hi, my name's Geoff and I am a highly experienced teacher and performer with a real interest in nurturing talent. The more motivated the learner, the more motivated I am to share my time and skills!
In the age of digital media there is a growing demand for voice-over artists, and all you need to enter the industry is a good voice, a laptop, and a decent microphone. From Youtube channels to radio, audiobooks to documentaries, this workshop offers a nuts and bolts approach to recording your own voice demo, finding paid work, and working with your voice to create a challenging but fun source of income.
In my classes we will focus on:
Voice acting techniques and styles
Warm-ups and vocal exercises
Identifying your own style and strategy
Identifying and applying to voice-over agencies
Training in use of home recording equipment and software
Personalised, edited scripts
