About Elizabeth
"Backend development rarely requires the complexity beginners assume because focus on core syntax often distracts from actual performance. I spent 3 years in a fintech environment building robust systems where simple logic outperformed clever hacks every time. My 4 years of experience teaching includes helping hobbyists and adults navigate the nuance of Git and database management. I hold a BSc and BEcon from the University of Melbourne and apply that analytical rigor to every concept.
Coding is an exercise in structure rather than memorization. Having taught 100 students, I recognize when a developer hits a wall with competitive programming or SQL. My transition to tutoring allows me to share the reality of industry expectations without the corporate overhead. You will find my approach grounded in the actual engineering standards I used daily."

"You likely want to stop guessing how your code actually functions under the hood. Programming sessions involve building functional APIs or debugging backend architectures while maintaining clean version control practices. I demand precise logic.
We focus on the constraints of your specific project needs to ensure the work is sustainable. Homework help is available for those struggling with syntax or algorithmic complexity. My industry background informs how we approach SQL queries and database relationships to ensure efficiency. Hobbyists and adults alike benefit from this rigorous methodology.
You will learn to write code that holds up in a real environment. The path forward involves constant refinement of your technical stack. Expect direct feedback on your implementations."
