About Ashley
My name is Ashley and I am a psychology graduate from Middle Tennessee State University. While there, my minor was neuroscience which is very closely related to the field of psychology. I also took a few classes in the area of behavioral health, one of which qualified for 40 hours of behavioral psychology training. After a few years of working experience, I would like to go back to school to receive my Master's in Psychology and then teach at a University.

For my teaching method, I prefer to take an interactive & content filled approach, including a variety of teaching techniques. A few examples may include -- filling out a diagram, watching a short video/presentation and answering questions regarding the content, creating your own case studies after discussing example case studies, practicing implementing therapeutic practices, and of course some direct instruction. I like to take a varietal type of approach as I feel it creates a more engaging learning environment, rather than simple lecturing. These lessons however only cover the basic subjects, history, and procedures and processes of psychology. They are only up to a bachelor's course level.
