About Jace
I am a second-year Psychology student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. I studied Finance in my first year because I enjoyed mathematics. I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping others understand concepts that may initially seem difficult. I am patient, approachable, and dedicated to creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. I work especially well with younger students and enjoy finding simple, relatable ways to explain challenging ideas. I hope to help students not only improve their math skills, but also develop confidence in their ability to learn and solve problems independently.

I am a second-year psychology student at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with a strong interest in helping students learn and build confidence in their abilities. I take a patient, supportive approach to math and explain concepts step-by-step rather than relying on memorization. I plan on helping students learn material by visualizing the concepts and applying them to real-world situations. I adjust my lessons based on each student’s individual needs and learning style. My goal is to make math less intimidating while helping students strengthen their fundamentals, improve problem-solving skills, and become more independent learners. I offer tutoring for elementary and middle school students in areas such as multiplication, division, fractions, decimals, percentages, ratios, pre-algebra, and basic algebra.
