About Landon
I earned my B.S. in Computer Science from Northeastern University, graduating magna cum laude, and have eight years of combined tutoring and software engineering experience in Boston and Cambridge. As a former software engineer at a data analytics startup, I honed the skill of translating abstract algorithms into digestible lessons. We cover core Python fundamentals—data structures, functions, classes—before venturing into advanced AI workflows (machine learning pipelines with scikit-learn and TensorFlow). We then examine Java’s object-oriented paradigms (inheritance, polymorphism) and tackle SQL schema design (normalization, indexing, complex joins). For a creative twist, we explore Video Game Development basics using Java’s LibGDX framework, culminating in a playable prototype. Each session is project-focused: you’ll build a mini-AI model to classify real-world datasets, architect a robust SQL-backed web application, or code a simple interactive game. I also emphasize best practices—version control (Git), unit testing, and collaborative workflows.
