About Stephany
Coding started as a challenge that eventually turned into a 13-year career path after my General Assembly training. I admit that navigating the transition from novice to software engineer feels intimidating. My current work supports adults starting from scratch and high schoolers preparing for CS degrees by teaching Python, APIs, and backend basics.
Project-based learning forms the core of my methodology while covering data structures, competitive programming, and web development. Teaching Java, object-oriented programming, and JavaScript allows me to see the exact moment a concept clicks. Helping students solve complex problems is genuinely the most enjoyable part of my day.

We spend time building applications using Java and JavaScript foundations to cement backend concepts. My General Assembly background ensures that the curriculum stays grounded in current industry standards.
We focus on object oriented programming and data structures through consistent hands on application. Working through these modules provides a clear roadmap for your development as a programmer. You will find that these sessions emphasize writing clean code over memorization.
