About Elena
I am a qualified and experienced languages teacher with more than 3 years of experience teaching in various schools and even on a cruise ship! I have a Master's degree in Developmental Linguistics, a course that focused on language acquisition from a psychological perspective. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Linguistic and Intercultural Mediation, where I learnt to tackle the sources of linguistic and intercultural conflict. I also obtained the DITALS certificate to teach Italian as a Second Language. I have worked in international environments such as the FAO of the UN and travelled all around the world!

I combine theoretical knowledge on language acquisition with creative and innovative techniques inspired by my previous work as a communicator and designer, and a naturally joyful and inspiring approach to teaching. I bring materials and exercises to the classes and each lesson is planned and prepared with care, so my courses can suit even beginners. There's a lot of playing involved, as well as effective learning in each class.
