About Maryam

I am a qualified medical doctor (MBBS) with a strong academic foundation in mathematics, chemistry, and biochemistry. My medical training and diverse clinical experience have equipped me with analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to explain complex topics in a clear, structured way. I have worked with learners from GCSE to university level, including medical and nursing students, and have a proven ability to adapt my teaching style to different needs. Why I Want to Teach: I am passionate about helping students build confidence in science and mathematics, not just to pass exams, but to truly understand and enjoy the subjects. During my own academic and medical journey, I learnt that the right guidance can transform challenging topics into engaging, achievable goals. Teaching allows me to share this approach, inspire curiosity, and support learners in reaching their full potential. For intensive revision or complex topics, 90-minute sessions are available.
