About Maddy
Last year I completed the TeachFirst programme and gained a PGCE from BCU. I am currently completing my NQT year at the same school. I am based in Year 2. During my time at University, I tutored primary school and GCSE children for their exams.

I am a very enthusiastic and motivated tutor. I am currently a Year 2 teacher working in a challenging school in Coventry.
This has meant that I need to be creative and fun in my lessons to engage my class. This is a skill that I believe ensures that all of my tutoring sessions are equally fun and engaging and that the children feel inspired and motivated to learn.
I have a degree in mathematics from the University of Bristol and have always had a passion for maths. There is a stigma that some people 'just aren't good at maths' and I do not believe this is true at all. I strongly believe that with the right tuition and support, anyone can begin to enjoy maths.
However, I am also passionate about the other subjects as I teach all of them every day!
