About Stacey
My name is Stacey Reid and I have been a qualified primary teacher for three years. Teaching has always been a dream of mine, and I feel incredibly grateful to be able to do this as my career. I consistently adhere to the General Teaching Council for Scotland’s professional standards and actively seek opportunities to develop my skills so that I can continue to grow as an educator. I recognise that today’s classrooms are increasingly diverse, and many pupils benefit from additional support to stay on track or to strengthen their understanding. I am deeply committed to supporting every child to the best of my ability, helping them build confidence, overcome challenges, and ultimately reach their full potential.”

“As a qualified primary teacher with experience across 1st and 2nd level of the Curriculum for Excellence, I place strong emphasis on building positive, trusting relationships as the foundation for learning. I begin with a ‘getting to know you’ lesson, which helps me understand each pupil as an individual while allowing them to feel comfortable and supported. From there, I identify strengths and areas of challenge to tailor lessons that meet their specific needs. My teaching style is flexible and adaptive, using a variety of approaches, from written tasks to active, hands-on activities and digital learning, to keep lessons engaging and effective. Above all, my aim is to create a supportive environment where pupils feel confident, motivated, and equipped to succeed.
