I’m fully up to date with the NZ Curriculum and passionate about helping children build strong numeracy skills aligned to its achievement objectives. I offer personalised maths tutoring for children aged 5–11, whether they’re looking to extend their skills or need extra support. Each lesson is tailored to your child’s individual needs and learning pace.
Our first session will help identify your child’s strengths and areas for growth. Because maths is a cumulative subject, a strong understanding of core concepts like addition and subtraction is essential before moving on to multiplication, division, and more advanced topics. My goal is to build that solid foundation and boost your child’s confidence in applying their knowledge to real-life problems.
With over five years of experience teaching and assessing maths in the classroom—and having tutored students one-on-one—I understand how to make lessons engaging and effective. I use interactive tools such as PowerPoint, whiteboards, and online resources to support learning and keep sessions dynamic.
Tutoring sessions are usually one hour, but this can be adjusted to suit your child’s needs. Optional homework can also be provided for an additional cost to reinforce what we’ve covered in the session.
