About Maire
I am a hard working teacher and I absolutely love my job. I have been interested in science and the great outdoors from a young age and pairing these two interests I was able to bring my knowledge of the world around us to the classroom. My undergraduate degree was in Pharmacy and I have a wealth of knowledge surrounding the human body and biology. I would love to help any students who are struggling with understanding in science as I know it can be a very complicated subject at times and many people find it difficult. However, I can help you as best I can to improve your confidence with these subjects and motivate you so that achieve the grades you want.

I use a range of techniques when teaching science to my students to include using visual stimuli, note taking, practise exam questions but most importantly and even more fun, practical lessons and videos which will consolidate your understanding.
Each lesson will be 1hr in length with the opportunity to increase lesson length if you so wish.
I have been tutoring for the past 2 years. I have tutored maths students at KS3 level and of course I have previously used my qualifications to help students with all 3 GCSEs in science.
