About Sylvernus
I am Sylvernus King from Freetown, Sierra Leone. I hold a Degree in Social Work from Milton Margai Technical University and I am currently studying Law at Imatt College, University of London. I have worked as Secretary at Child Hope Sierra Leone since 2024 managing child welfare programs and as a Government School Teacher at Lincoln High School since 2022, where I was awarded Best Government Teacher of the Year 2025 and Youngest Teacher 2025. I am also a volunteer Men’s Ally and Peer Educator with SEND Sierra Leone promoting gender equality and child protection. I am hardworking, a good listener, and passionate about helping students grow. My teaching is professional.

I am a Social Work graduate, qualified teacher, and child protection worker from Sierra Leone with 4 years of field experience at Child Hope and SEND Sierra Leone. My lessons are not just theory - I bring real case studies from community outreach, gender equality programs, and child welfare work. I teach Introduction to Social Work, Child Protection, Community Development, and Human Rights in a simple, supportive way.
