About Shaazia
ChatGPT said: As a dedicated and experienced tutor with qualifications in Pharmacy and an MSc in Chemistry, I am passionate about helping students achieve their full academic potential. With a strong scientific background and years of tutoring experience, I provide high-quality, structured lessons that make learning engaging, clear, and effective. My teaching approach focuses on building confidence, developing problem-solving skills, and ensuring a deep understanding of key concepts rather than rote memorisation. Each 60-minute lesson is carefully planned to include explanations, guided practice, and targeted feedback. I adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs, ensuring that every student—whether they are aiming to boost their grades or striving for top marks—feels supported and challenged at the right level. I specialise in tutoring students from Year 7 to Year 11, covering Key Stage 3 and GCSE Science and Chemistry. My lessons combine real-life applications, interactive discussions, and exam-focused techniques to keep students motivated and engaged. Professionalism, patience, and clear communication are at the heart of my teaching. I take pride in helping students gain confidence, develop a genuine interest in science, and achieve measurable progress in their studies.

My teaching methodology is centred around creating an engaging, supportive, and structured learning environment tailored to each student’s needs. Each 60-minute lesson is carefully planned to balance explanation, practice, and feedback. I begin with a short recap of previous topics to strengthen retention, followed by clear, step-by-step teaching of new concepts using real-life examples, visual aids, and interactive questioning to encourage critical thinking. I incorporate a range of techniques such as guided problem-solving, mini-quizzes, and exam-style practice to develop both understanding and exam confidence. With qualifications in Pharmacy and an MSc in Chemistry, I bring strong subject knowledge and a practical understanding of scientific principles. My academic background allows me to simplify complex ideas and relate them to real-world applications, helping students see the relevance of what they learn. My lessons are designed for students in Years 7 to 11, covering Key Stage 3 and GCSE levels. I cater to all abilities, from those who need extra support to those aiming for top grades. My goal is to build confidence, improve academic performance, and foster a genuine interest in science and chemistry through patient guidance, structured learning, and continuous encouragement.
