Teaching credentials are important because they underpin lesson planning and delivery but real-life experience should not be under-rated!

In addition to a double major in Human Resources and Business Administration, I also have a Certificate in Adult Education. More recently I completed a 170-hour TEFL course (with an accredited training provider) plus a 30-hour Business English specialty course.

'On-The-Job' tutoring has occurred in many different types of occupations and industries (private and public sector). The range includes sales, service delivery, customer service, contract management, and regulatory occupations. Industry sectors include territorial authorities, government departments, recruitment and personnel management, agriculture, horticulture, non-profits, aviation, and telecommunications. I believe that this wealth of experience particularly benefits students seeking to improve their English language proficiency with highly contextualized tutoring.

Hi, my name is Judith and I am a native English speaker from New Zealand. In America, my accent is most often guessed as being British.
After living and working in Australia for a few years, my American husband and I moved to the USA and settled in North Carolina. That was in 2015 and since then, I have become proficient at using American English (for my other work as a content creator and line editor) as well as British English.
My specialty is helping tertiary students and adults confidently interact with people in work environments where fluent English is a necessity. Challenges you are facing may include emigrating to an English-speaking country, doing business internationally, tertiary training abroad, seeking work, or settling into a new job. This is where I can help.
