About the lesson

As a tutor, I employ a student-centered teaching approach, tailoring my methodology to each learner's unique needs and learning style. I integrate a variety of engaging techniques, such as hands-on activities, games, and multisensory exercises, to make learning phonics interactive and enjoyable.

A typical lesson plan begins with an assessment to identify areas of need, followed by targeted instruction focusing on phonetic concepts. I scaffold learning, gradually increasing complexity as mastery is achieved. Lessons conclude with reinforcement activities and opportunities for practice to solidify understanding.

What sets me apart is my dedication to fostering a supportive and encouraging learning environment where students feel empowered and motivated to succeed. I prioritize building rapport and trust with my students, ensuring they feel comfortable asking questions and taking risks in their learning journey.

My lessons are primarily for children who are struggling with reading or phonics, but I also work with individuals seeking to enhance their literacy skills or overcome specific challenges in this area. Whether it's a child with dyslexia, a struggling reader, or someone simply looking to improve their phonetic understanding, I'm committed to helping each student reach their full potential and become confident, proficient readers.
