About Madeleine

I graduated from Missouri State University with a bachelor's in speech and theatre education with an emphasis on theatre. During my time in university, I took several acting, directing, stagecraft, lighting, costuming, and education classes. I also got the opportunity to work on several productions. I have completed over 200 hours of theatre practicums, as well as over 600 hours of student teaching in a high school theatre classroom. Now, I am currently a Kindergarten-8th grade theatre teacher.

About the lesson

I am a very hands-on and collaborative teacher. My main focus is seeing my students succeed and finding new and inventive ways to get them there. I cater my lessons and sessions to fit my students' wants and needs; no two lessons are quite the same. My lessons are for any and all ages. I have experience in lower elementary all the way to higher ed.

Madeleine is a great teacher that has experience with all ages. She teaches in a way that makes it not feel like learning. Not only is she very knowledgeable about music and theater, but she enjoys it as well. She is very encouraging and kind!

Mrs.Bell was my first theater teacher. She taught me how to improv and awakened my love for the stage. She is very sweet and i can tell she genuinely cares about us.
