About Robert
I am a recent UCLA graduate with a degree in Political Science. I was previously Pre-Med before switching to Pre-Law, and have lots of experience with both STEM and social science coursework. Before choosing to UCLA, I was admitted to Duke, CMC, UPenn, Notre Dame, and Cal. In addition to academic tutoring, I enjoy working with students on their college applications and personal statements. Look forward to meeting you!

My approach is trying to give students the intuitions of each topic so that they can truly understand them. I don't believe in or advocate blind memorization and regurgitation. I prefer to teach the students how to understand broad concepts and apply them to ambiguous situations for deeper learning. Prior to a session, I always prepare a lesson plan for the topics. As we move through the material, I will take notes and send them to my students afterwards.
