About Beatrice
I enjoy encouraging young people to challenge themselves and showing them how they can find enjoyment in Literature through the freedom provided by the subject. Previously I have been involved in classroom assisting for year 7 reading group, while also working with older students in year 11 by sitting in lesson to help teachers. My range of experience across years and passion for English allows me to encourage students to both achieve in the subject and enjoy it as much as I have throughout my education journey.

The typical lesson would be 1 hour. I believe in giving students the opportunity to be creative with their perspectives, this means lessons will consist of giving guided question and exploring texts in engaging ways that allow them to develop their own ideas. This will be combined with workshopping ideas into exam standard answers and how they can begin to expand ideas in a way that compliments mark schemes. This may involve setting essays or paragraphs to help with both personal revision and be used in following sessions, this will be extremely beneficial in allowing me to tailor sessions and help students reach their potential.
