About Margot
I am an enthusiastic flute tutor with 20+ years of teaching experience, having worked with around 150 students successfully. I teach students of all levels and focus on helping them develop both technical skills and confidence. My teaching approach is student-centred, based on communication, creativity, and adaptability.
I customise lessons according to each student’s ability and goals, ensuring smooth and steady progress. I focus on essential techniques such as breath control, tone clarity, and finger coordination. I make my classes interactive and enjoyable by including exercises, songs, and creative learning methods.
I am patient and supportive, helping students overcome challenges with simple explanations. I also teach basic music theory to improve overall understanding. My goal is to make flute learning engaging and rewarding.

I aim to make lessons both effective and enjoyable. I focus on developing strong fundamentals such as breath control, tone clarity, and finger coordination through guided practice.
I adjust my teaching methods based on the student’s progress, ensuring comfortable learning. Collaboration is encouraged through active participation and creative activities.
I create a supportive and motivating environment where students feel confident and inspired. In addition to flute, I also teach music theory and rhythm to support overall musical growth.
