About Susmita
I am an M.Sc. graduate in Geology and currently pursuing my PhD with a specialization in Engineering Geology. My academic and research background has given me a strong understanding of both fundamental and applied geological concepts. As a tutor, I try to focus on making complex topics easier to understand through clear explanations, diagrams, practical examples, and step-by-step discussions. I believe that understanding the concept is more valuable than simply memorizing information. I try to approach every class with patience, professionalism, and respect for the students' individual learning needs. Before beginning, I prefer to understand the student's syllabus, current level, and learning goals so that I can prepare lessons accordingly. Whether you need help strengthening your fundamentals, understanding a difficult topic, or preparing for an examination, I will do my best to make each session clear, focused, and useful.

My teaching focuses on developing a clear understanding of fundamental concepts and their practical applications. I can assist students with topics such as Engineering Geology, Structural Geology, Mineralogy, Petrology, Geomorphology, Hydrogeology, and other core areas of Geology, depending on the student's syllabus and requirements. I prefer one-to-one discussions for concept clarification, exam preparation, revision, or understanding. I offer online tutoring in Geology and Earth Science for undergraduate and postgraduate students. My aim is to make complex geological concepts easier to understand by connecting theoretical principles with practical and field-based examples. Classes can be tailored to the student's syllabus and learning requirements
