About Leah

I have been an Associate Lecturer at the University of Lancaster for three years. I am very dedicated to the role, and take great interest in my student’s progression and ability to succeed in their learning. Students have described me as patient, and that I deliver exciting lectures. Many of my students have begun their year with Cs or lower, in which I have helped them excel to B+s to A+s.

About the lesson

While I will prepare our lessons, I will initially ask what you, as an individual, would like to gain from these sessions - whether it is learning English, or getting a good grasp on how to write academic essays, I am more than happy to help you and progress at your own pace. Our lessons will involve back-and-forth discussion, and I will ensure you get the most out of your learning.

Leah is patient and kind. She knows her subject inside out, and is a good communicator. She knows how to ‘cut to the chase’ and get to the nitty gritty of what she is trying to convey. She instills confidence and is very encouraging. I thoroughly recommend her.
