About Emily
My work is rooted in both professional study and lived experience.
I am a 200hr qualified yoga teacher, a dancer and life coach, and I hold a certificate in Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy.
Yoga has been a consistent part of my life for over 6 years, supporting my own healing, nervous system regulation and self-connection, so everything I teach I truly embody.
I am passionate about teaching because I have seen first-hand how gentle, trauma-informed movement can help people feel safer in their bodies, calmer in their minds and more trusting of themselves. I teach with care, professionalism and clear boundaries, creating a supportive environment where students feel respected, listened to and never pushed beyond their limits.

My aim is to help students feel safer, calmer and more connected to their body. Tutoring is centred around nervous system regulation, safety and embodiment rather than performance or pushing the body. I teach slow, intentional, breath-led practices that support the body to move out of stress and into regulation. My approach is trauma-informed and somatically led, meaning students are always encouraged to listen to their own body, work within their personal capacity and choose rest when needed.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are created around the individuals needs and goals. Sessions include gentle movement, deep stretches, breathwork, grounding practices, and constructive rest.
As an added bonus for online students... you will receive a recording and summary after each class so you can practice the session again in your own time.
Classes are suitable for adults of all levels, including beginners and can be taught at your home, or online via Zoom.
