About Steven
I have tutored my high school and college students through office hours. I have tutored many others that were not my classroom students. My knowledge is extensive. I hold a BS, MS and PhD in Chemical Engineering and worked 30 years in the petroleum and petrochemical field. After retiring, I taught high school chemistry at the regular and honors level for 10 years. I also taught Chemistry at the junior college level for 12 years. I truly love tutoring success. I enjoy seeing chemistry frustration turn to enjoyment and success. I look forward to helping you succeed in Chemistry or math.

I have had great success tutoring. My students achieved A's and B's. I can teach from my own lesson plans or review from yours. I teach and review, then work examples, then work with you to demonstrate your new skill. Finally, we will use on-line tools like Kahoot and Quizlet to review and tes your new skills. We will always work at your pace and find ways to enjoy the learning.
