About Aya

I earned a B.S. in Public Health and a minor in Spanish at UCLA and am currently attending UC Riverside School of Medicine to earn my MD. If you or your child is pre-med or pre-health, I have plenty of applicable experience to help! I tutored at the UCLA Veterans' Resource Center for 3 years, helping many other pre-med students on the campus.

About the lesson

As a medical student who earned a $50K scholarship and graduated with a 3.9 GPA from the Nation's top public institution, I know what it takes to get accepted into medical school. Due to the incredibly competitive nature of the field, I will go over each student's achievements to help set them up for a successful application cycle. I will offer advice on obtaining research and volunteering experiences, editing application essays, and developing a well-informed school list.
