About Robert
Hi! My name is Rob and I’m a fourth year medical student at the University of Oxford. Medicine is a fantastic subject to study at University as it is never boring, whether we are in the lecture theatre, small group teaching or on the wards.
I have always liked to keep my areas of study broad, and as such I studied English Literature and History at A-level alongside Biology and Chemistry. I found in this way I was able to become better at thinking about problems in different ways and from different angles - with English and History both being subjects I continue to explore in my free time. Through my studies I have been able to hone my examination technique and explore interesting and engaging methods to keep revision and exam prep varied and effective.
In my spare time, I am a keen rugby player. I play 1st XV for my Oxford college, Christ Church, as well as 2nd XIII for Oxford University Rugby League. I am currently the President of the Christ Church Medical Society, through which we are able to arrange speakers to visit the college and talk on a variety of medical topics.
