About Donna
I have been teaching /tutoring for over 30 years and have taught literally hundreds of students in science and math. Over the years, I have helped numerous students increase their grades substantially , but moreover, helped them truly understand the subject at hand. I have had many move from their basic sciences into nursing school or from freshman high school courses to college prep courses. Thus, with my assistance , they have been able to overcome their initial obstacles in courses like chemistry or algebra, master the subject and succeed in their coursework , in order to move forward with their educational goals.

I am someone who likes to learn and , in turn, I like to work with students who want to learn and improve their understanding of science and math. Together , we find a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere in which to sit down and discuss the subject at hand, then we take our time going over problems and concepts of current interest. As a teacher, I always keep in mind the student's immediate needs , but with an eye to future topics they will be covering in their studies. By doing so, I strive to help the student stay on track and to ultimately be successful in their course.
