About Roisin
I am a current student in Maynooth University pursuing an undergraduate degree in general science. I am in my second year and my modules involve experimental physics, chemistry and biology. The topics I have covered in my biology modules include evolution, molecular biology, biochemistry, animal physiology and cell structure. I am very passionate about biology and love helping people understand more about the biological world.

My typical approach to teaching leaving cert Biology is to introduce material to my students through interactive visuals, discussions and notes. Once the student has become comfortable with the topic I introduce the use of past exam papers. I explain how to breakdown questions and what the expected answer is. I also encourage my students to ask me questions if they feel uncertain about a topic. My lessons are about ensuring my students are confident and fully prepared for their Leaving cert Biology exam.
