About Layton
Currently studying mathematics and computer science. I really hated maths in school but have flourished studying it in university. I believe a strong foundation in fundamentals can really help students excel and even enjoy mathematics. I’m passionate about helping students see the beauty in mathematics. I’m also in computer science theory, Python, biology and chemistry, and English literature. I spend my free time researching subjects of interest and have a broad scope of knowledge. Aiming to do medicine post-graduate.

My teaching method focuses on really getting an intuitive grasp on basic and fundamental topics and building knowledge of more complex knowledge by expanding on that intuitive foundation and exploring where intuition may take us. I also believe exploring maths as a “universal language”, fundamental in all aspects of life can help students realise the true beauty and power of maths.
