About Jennifer
I am a qualified English teacher with over 10 years of experience in the profession. I have taken a break from the classroom since having children. I enjoy teaching and have a passion for the subject. I genuinely miss being in the classroom and I look forward to helping students achieve their best in the subject in another way. I can help students with foundational skills or in completing and drafting assignments. As a teacher, I will not complete work for students, but I am skilled in helping them understand assignment requirements and completing work to the best of their ability.

I am an experienced English teacher who has held the position of Middle Years English Curriculum Coordinator at my last school. I am also very familiar with the current SACE requirements, having taught Stage 1 and 2 on many occasions.
I can offer online tutoring via Zoom either as regular weekly sessions or as required for assignment assistance which can include drafting for other language rich subjects where necessary.
I am flexible regarding length of sessions, however, I would recommend an hour to ensure all areas required are covered. I
I am incredibly enthusiastic about English as a subject and I endeavour to help students build a positive association with the subject.
As a school teacher, I am skilled in assisting students with their individual needs. I am experienced in working with students of all abilities.

Jennifer really helped my daughter get great results for her comparative analysis in English in year 12. She managed to gain her trust easily and quickly with her kindness and ability to explain what was needed. Thanks to Jen’s guidance, my daughter’s confidence in writing and critical analysis has grown immensely. She goes above and beyond to provide personalized feedback and support. If you're looking for a tutor who genuinely cares about your progress and will help you achieve top marks in English, Jen is the perfect choice!
We engaged Jennifer to support our 16 year old daughter, Lexi.
Lexi’s confidence in her writing, as well as her ability to complete her assignment to a higher standard and her enjoyment of English as a subject all vastly improved. Jennifer is kind, considerate of her pupils needs, punctual, passionate and knowledgeable. I would recommend her to anyone who is looking to support their child or lift their grades.View more recommendations
