My tutoring has an intense focus on problem solving and critical thinking.
Working through questions together, I show you techniques to help you work out what the question is asking, find relevant information, and apply it to solve a problem.
It sounds simple, but these skills take a lot of time, effort, and reflection to develop, which makes studying for the exam difficult for many.

I have received multiple tutoring sessions with James throughout my honours year, seeking help for statistics assignments and the statistics/results part of my thesis. He has been incredibly helpful and it only took one session for him to become my go-to for everything stats related! Over this year he has helped me with stats concepts ranging from basic-level to complex stuff such as machine learning, and regardless of complexity, James was all over it and was able to explain it to me in a really straightforward manner. Owed to his support, I have received HDs on all stats assignments I sought help for (and I am not particularly maths-minded). I highly recommend James!!
