About Jacob
I’ve spent the last 10 years deep in the trenches of music theory so you don't have to. I have never taken a formal music lesson in my life.
Why does that matter to you? Because it means I actually speak human English, not academic jargon. I don't care if you can’t play a single instrument or don't know how to read sheet music. I teach music theory focusing entirely on structure and how it actually feels. No rules, no wrist-slapping, no pretension.
Drop me a message, pull up your most abominable project file, and let's diagnose it together.

It’s 3:00 AM, you’re staring at your screen, and you’ve been looping the same four chords for three hours. Deep down, you know it sounds like a generic smartphone ringtone. And that's okay. My lessons are designed for bedroom producers, indie songwriters, and adult hobbyists who play by ear but feel stuck in a creative rut.
What we will do in our lessons:
• Exorcise your boring loops and craft cinematic progressions
• Cook with chords that won't make you sound like an elevator music enthusiast
• Stop guessing at what note comes next. Your laptop deserves it
