About Dalia
I have always enjoyed math, although in elementary school and early middle school, I wasn't very good at it. Due to my interest in math, I spent extra hours then learning how to teach myself math and recognize the patterns and reasoning for those topics. I currently consider myself a good tutor, as I understand what makes concepts confusing and problems hard to solve at first. When I teach I address that directly by teaching explicit steps and reasoning to get through those concepts. I am currently studying calculus and I use that method to teach myself to have a better understanding.

I approach tutoring by looking at the problem when first learning about it. Math can be confusing because there are so many abstract ways to solve problems, I like to try to teach it in a way that sounds definite and straightforward, while also having an explanation as to why. Easily understanding the steps and why allows students to remember what to do when they approach a similar problem again.
