About Ilia
I am a committed flute tutor with 12+ years of experience, having successfully guided around 150 students across different levels. I am passionate about helping students build strong musical skills and confidence.
My teaching style focuses on clear communication, patience, and adaptability, ensuring that each student learns at their own pace. I emphasize important fundamentals such as breathing techniques, fingering, tone clarity, and rhythm.
I make my classes interactive by including exercises, songs, and creative activities that keep students engaged. I create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and improving steadily.
My strength is simplifying difficult concepts and making learning easy. I also teach basic music theory to support overall development. My aim is to help students enjoy music and grow as confident flute players.

My approach to teaching flute combines adaptation, flexibility, collaboration, and a positive mindset to create an effective learning experience. I begin by understanding the student’s learning style and musical interests, which helps me design engaging lessons.
I focus on developing core skills such as breath control, tone production, and finger coordination. Flexibility allows me to modify lessons based on the student’s progress and comfort level. Collaboration is encouraged through active participation and creative exercises.
I create a supportive environment where students feel motivated and confident to improve. I also include music theory and rhythm training to enhance overall musical growth.
