About Anwesha
I am a dedicated student who enjoys helping others understand math and feel more confident in their abilities. As someone who is currently taking advanced math and science courses, I understand the challenges students can face when learning new concepts. I am patient, approachable, and willing to explain a problem in different ways until it makes sense. I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand their needs and create a supportive learning environment. My goal is not only to help students get the right answers, but also to help them develop problem-solving skills, confidence, and a positive attitude toward math.

As a tutor, I focus on making math simple, understandable, and enjoyable by breaking down difficult concepts into smaller steps and explaining the reasoning behind each method rather than relying on memorization. I adapt my teaching style to each student's individual learning pace and needs, using examples, visuals, guided practice, and questions to help them build a strong understanding of the material. A typical lesson begins with a quick review of previous concepts, followed by an introduction to the new topic, worked examples, and independent practice. I also take time to go over mistakes and answer questions so students leave the lesson feeling more confident. What sets me apart is that, as a student myself, I understand how confusing certain math concepts can feel, so I create a comfortable environment where students can ask questions without feeling embarrassed about making mistakes. My lessons are designed primarily for elementary and middle school students and can be tailored to their specific grade level, classwork, homework, test preparation, and areas where they need additional support.
