About Chris
In 2016, I graduated a Bachelor of Mathematics/Bachelor of IT with distinction. Through my tertiary education, I was constantly taking time to teach and tutor my peers and juniors, including volunteering in QUT's peer tutoring program for 2 years. I also tutored at NumberWorks'n'Words for 4 years, focusing on secondary mathematics, and did various private tutoring sessions ass well.
Since then, I have been progressing my career, but I have missed teaching, and am excited to return to it!

I take a top-down tools based approach to teaching. I strongly encourage taking problems at the highest level and learning how to break them down into manageable components and developing a toolset to work through them. Ideally, if you approach me for tutoring, I won't be tutoring you forever, because you will build the ability to break down problems and the toolbox to solve them yourself :)
I usually aim for hour-long lessons, ideally in a public library, but I'm happy to do house calls as well.
