About Tayla

I am a software engineering student and have had experience tutoring individuals in numerous subjects since my schooling years. I took higher-level Literature (in the International Baccalaureate program) and noticeably excelled in the subject as I took it passionately. I was approached in school constantly for assistance in the subject due to my skill-level, but also have experience assisting younger, lower-level English students.

About the lesson

My teaching method includes learning how each student productively receives and digests information (depending on the type of learner they are) and accommodating accordingly. I follow after my Literature teacher, and believe that the way you approach teaching a subject highly impacts a student's perception and enjoyment of the subject. For this reason, I think a dynamic, relatable, and productive teaching method is the best way to go.

Tayla and I have been friends and gone to university together for the past three years, over this time she has consistently been one of the top students in our class as well as being one of the most genuinely fun, caring, kind, patient and diligent people I have ever met. I have no doubt that she will carry these qualities through to her tutoring.

It has been my pleasure to know Tayla in an educational and personal sense for the past five years. She is an excellent writer (I was her teacher) and explains things with clarity and confidence. She is mature and approaches situations with responsibility and intelligence. Tayla works hard to get things right and is passionate about literature, analysis, and self-expression. She is funny, kind, and honest. You won't find a better tutor!
