About Maurice
Complete beginners often feel lost when starting a song, but I am here to bridge that gap. I have spent 10 years coaching artists through the messy process of creation rather than sticking to dry theory. My Certificate in Music Production from Berklee Online informs how I hear structure, yet my focus remains on your unique voice.
You will find that writing lyrics becomes less daunting when we break down rhyme schemes and meter together. Concept development is where we begin because your perspective matters most in the industry today.
I treat every project as a living thing that needs space to breathe and grow over time. Melodic phrasing becomes second nature once you understand how imagery drives the emotional core of your music.
Writing memorable choruses is a craft that I have refined over a decade of hands-on collaboration. I prioritize your growth as a songwriter by keeping our work grounded in real-world application.

Writing music is best accomplished when we focus on the act of doing. I use my Berklee Online training to keep our sessions practical and direct.
We listen back to your demos constantly to see what is working and what needs change. This hands-on approach ensures you are always making progress on actual songs.
You will be writing during our 10 years of collective experience working in the studio. It is essential to keep the momentum going.
We will tweak your lines until they feel authentic. We will adjust the melodies until they stick in your head. Production is a tool for your lyrics. Let us see where your next song goes.
