¡Hola! I’m a Spanish professor at Baylor University with a passion for helping students speak and interact in Spanish with confidence.
My lessons are personalized to your individual situation; whether you’re just beginning to learn Spanish, need help with a university or high school Spanish course, or want to become more comfortable speaking the language, I can help you.
My teaching approach emphasizes practical vocabulary and working with Spanish grammar as a tool for communication instead of points to memorize. I draw upon my research experience in Spanish pedagogy and in lowering Foreign Language Anxiety, and I try to combine these practical elements with useful and fun cultural engagement with Spanish-speakers.
Whether you’re preparing for an exam, struggling with a particular concept, or simply looking to improve your conversational Spanish, I’d love to help you succeed!
