About Luiza

About Me – Luiza
I am a dedicated Spanish tutor with years of experience studying the language since the age of 13, which has allowed me to build a strong linguistic foundation and a deep understanding of how students learn most effectively. Over time, I have successfully taught more than 50 students, helping them improve their vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, and overall confidence when communicating in Spanish.
My teaching style is patient, structured, and supportive, designed to make students feel comfortable while progressing consistently. I believe that confidence is the key to language learning, so I create a positive environment where mistakes are seen as part of growth. I carefully prepare each lesson to match the student’s level, goals, and pace, ensuring that every session is productive and motivating.
Students can rely on my professionalism, organization, and commitment to their progress. I take my role seriously and genuinely care about each learner’s development, which is why I continuously adapt my methods to provide clear explanations, practical exercises, and measurable results.

My Approach as a Tutor – Luiza
Teaching method and techniques:
My teaching approach is based on active reading, vocabulary recognition, and repetition. Since these first lessons are text-based, students learn by understanding words in context and gradually becoming familiar with the language. I strongly incorporate the flashcard method, encouraging students to create their own cards from the texts we study. When they find a new word, they research a sentence containing it, write it on a flashcard, add pronunciation and translation, and practice repeating it aloud. This technique strengthens memory, pronunciation, and confidence at the same time.
A typical lesson plan:
A lesson usually starts with guided reading of a short text suited to the student’s level. We analyze vocabulary, pronunciation, and meaning together. Then, students select unfamiliar words to turn into flashcards. After that, we practice speaking and repetition exercises using those same words in new sentences. We finish with a quick review activity to reinforce retention and ensure the student feels comfortable using what they learned.
What sets me apart as a tutor:
What makes my lessons different is the personalized and interactive learning process. I focus on helping students build independence so they don’t just memorize words, but truly understand and use them. My method trains the brain to recognize patterns in Spanish naturally, making learning faster, more engaging, and more effective.
Who the lessons are for:
My classes are ideal for beginners, intermediate learners, and students who want to strengthen vocabulary, reading, and pronunciation skills. They are especially helpful for learners who prefer structured guidance, practical techniques, and step-by-step progress while building real confidence in Spanish.
